Does the electric valve in the heat pump circuit need to be bypassed by a manual valve?

Electric control valves can be equipped with bypasses, and there are several reasons for this: firstly, it serves as an emergency control mechanism in case the electric valve malfunctions; Second, the electric valve can be removed from the pipeline for maintenance without shutting down operations ; Third, if the torque of the electric valve is insufficient, the bypass valve can be used as a balancing valve during startup. It is advisable to use a globe valve with regulating function as the bypass valve, with a diameter identical to that of the electric valve. If there are no shut-off valves before and after the electric valve, only a bypass is installed, then the machine must be stopped when removing the electric valve; sometimes it is also necessary to drain and relieve the pressure of the medium in the pipeline.
