Need help with applications for ball valves?

We know that ball valves are divided into floating ball valves and fixed ball valves; so, could anyone tell us in what applications fixed ball valves are used? What types of pipes are used the most? Which industry uses it the most? Is it related to the pipeline layout on site?
Regarding application areas, one has to accumulate knowledge bit by bit on their own. Slow work yields fine results. Good luck. :)

Yes, that’s right. So are there any requirements regarding the operating conditions for fixed ball valves? Or rather, which pipelines require fixed ball valves? I mean under the same model specifications. For example, for a DN200 two-way hard-sealed ball valve, if cost efficiency of the actuator is a priority, then a fixed-ball valve is definitely the preferred choice.

I just asked a colleague; there’s also a flexible ball valve, but I really haven’t come across it before…
The choice between fixed ball valves and floating ball valves is primarily determined by size and pressure, and is not related to the industry or the layout of the pipelines in place; size and pressure affect the torque required to operate the valve. Generally, high pressure and large size
