HG20610 gasket PN series: how to distinguish between PN Series A and B

I need help. The PN series of HG20592 flanges is divided into Series A and Series B, but the gaskets used with them, HG20610, do not specify different types corresponding to flanges with larger or smaller outer diameters. How can one distinguish between these gaskets? Is it necessary to take into account whether it is a Series A or Series B flange when selecting a gasket? Furthermore, GB4622 also only mentions the PN series, without referring to the large outer diameter and the small outer diameter. How should this be understood?
In HG/T20592, series A and B refer to the difference between imperial and metric units for the pipes being connected; the dimensions of the flange sealing surfaces are the same, so there is no distinction between A and B gaskets as well. For example, for DN50 pipe flanges, those of series A are used for connecting pipes with a diameter of 60, while those of series B are used for connecting pipes with a diameter of 57; all other flange dimensions remain exactly the same.
