Shell test of high-pressure gas for valves

I have a gentle question: is the shell test for high-pressure gases in valves essentially a shell test that uses gas as the testing medium? The standards specify that for the former, the test pressure is 1.1 times the maximum allowable operating pressure, while for the latter, it is 1.5 times the shell test pressure if that is used.
High-pressure gas testing includes gas envelope testing and high-pressure gas sealing testing.
The standards specify that a liquid pressure test should be conducted before a high-pressure gas pressure test; is it true that high-pressure gas pressure tests are generally not carried out, unless specifically requested by the customer? Also, for valves that are difficult to clean after the liquid chamber test, is it unavoidable to conduct the liquid chamber test?
High-pressure gas chamber testing is extremely dangerous and is generally required as an additional test, proposed by the purchaser. High-pressure gas shell testing devices generally adopt a pit design for remote monitoring and operation. For valves that are tested in a liquid environment, there are various methods for removing the liquid after the test; generally, purging or suction can be used, and followed by a drying process, which helps to address the issue of water prohibition.
