1. Why do the regulations for setting safety valves specify that the inlet pipe should be as short and straight as possible, yet at the same time require the use of long-radius elbows for the inlet pipe? Are these 2 in conflict? 2. If the diameter of the outlet pipe at the top of the pressure vessel is 25A and the diameter of the inlet pipe is also 25A, then must the diameter of the safety valve be at most 20A? Does South Korea require 50A? Are there any regulations regarding this?
There is no conflict; both aim to reduce the resistance in the export pipelines and minimize vibrations during pipeline venting.
