Gasket selection for butt-welded flanges

As specified in sh3059 and other standards, when standard pipe flanges with a nominal pressure of 2.0 MPa or less use wound gaskets or metal ring gaskets, butt-welded or slip-on flanges are preferred. In current projects, on the contrary, welded flanges with a nominal pressure of 2.0 MPa or less are being used; is it necessary to use wound gaskets or metal ring gaskets?
Please note the meanings of “should”, “may” and “must” in the specifications
It’s not necessary; non-metallic flat gaskets can also be used
This must be considered based on the compatibility between the sealing material and the medium~~~
