How many sets of design blueprints are required at least for pressure pipeline design?

This post was last edited by shiworkstation on 2018-2-27 09:41. How many copies of the pressure pipeline design blueprint are required at minimum? The question is, is it necessary to produce 8 copies? Everyone thinks 8 copies are needed, but who exactly should these 8 copies be given to?
It’s usually 8 points; we also require 8 copies here； For simple construction, so much isn’t required; what’s needed most are the architectural design drawings for fire safety inspections.
Some projects I’ve worked on require 16 copies.
The number of copies of drawings varies for different projects, but 8 copies in the first delivery batch is a requirement in most contracts. The general allocation of these drawings is as follows: 1. Client: one copy for the investment department, one copy for the construction department, and one copy for the archives for reference (for general use). 2. Supervisor: at least one copy. 3. Construction team: four copies (two copies for the project team – for budgeting and technical purposes, and two copies for the construction workers). Additionally, the production department needs at least one copy of the drawings during the construction phase in order to be familiar with the project details. Upon completion of the project, two set of as-built drawings are required, with at least one set to be filed in the municipal archives. According to the old procedure, about 12 drawings are required. Currently, procedures such as submission for approval and inspection are required for fire protection, lightning protection, pressure pipelines, pressure vessels, etc., and the number of such submissions needed will need to increase further; at least one additional submission is required.
It is usually 6, 8, or 12. It depends on the client’s requirements
Generally, it is 8 copies; for specific projects, it shall be in accordance with the contract, and it usually will not be less than 6 copies.
