I’m currently working on the piping class. When dealing with butt-welded pipe fittings, I encountered a problem: for example, for a DN100 butt-welded seamless pipe fitting made of 20# steel, when specifying the standards, I must mention the dimensional standard GB/T 12459. For the material standard, I use GB/T 8163 20#, which refers to seamless steel pipes. Do I also need to include the technical standard for pipe fittings, GB/T 13401? Is it necessary? I would appreciate some guidance from experts, thank you!
Within 12459, the reference leads to 13401; I don’t think it’s necessary to write anything further. .
Seamless pipe fittings need not be listed, but welded pipe fittings must be included

The provisions of this standard are mainly aimed at welded pipe fittings, while GB12459 is primarily focused on seamless pipe fittings
If you use the standards from 2005, then GBT12459 applies to seamless fittings, while GBT13401 applies to welded fittings. If you use the 2017 version of the standards, then both seamless and welded types must be referenced
