As shown in the picture, some new devices come with pipes that include insulation sleeves; these pipes are connected using swivel joints, and once installed, no further insulation is required. They are generally suitable only for condensate lines operating at temperatures below 100 degrees. I just want to know what the scientific name of this tube is and how much it costs If the material cost of the pipes, plus the piping welding cost and insulation cost, when compared to those using direct welding, is lower, then this method should be adopted in all future constructions.

We have also used it recently; it is called an explosion-proof sleeve, used for protecting cables in explosion-proof areas. As for its insulation capability, it remains unknown.
We call this a pre-insulated tube here. The downside of this guy is that once it freezes, it’s not easy to melt it back.
The English name is pre-insulated tubing, not pipe.
