Different specifications refer to variations in the nominal diameter; for pressure regulators with smaller specifications, the flow rate will be higher, while the total flow volume remains unchanged. If it refers to different set pressure reduction parameters, the outlet pressure depends on the higher set pressure; the operational stability of the pressure reducing valve depends on the stability of the pressure difference before and after the valve. Based on this analysis, using pressure reducing valves of different specifications in parallel does not lead to instability.

According to the HG/T20592 flange standard, for PN systems, there are two series of piping: A and B. For a given diameter, the outer diameter of the pipes varies (for example, for DN150, the outer diameters are 159 and 168 respectively), and the inner diameters of the pipes also differ accordingly; The question is, when purchasing valves, should it be specified whether the valve flanges are of series A or series B (corresponding to the PN system)?
Valve flanges are designed and manufactured according to the dimensions of integral steel pipe flanges, and do not involve AB series piping. Therefore, when purchasing valves, there is no need to specify AB size requirements. (For valve flange dimensions, see pages P50–P56 of HG/T 20592)
