The expansion of metals is proportional only to the operating temperature and is independent of pressure
If it is a normal-temperature pipe, no compensation is required.
You need to first figure out what the reason is – has corrosion protection been properly implemented?
If it are normal parameters with a design pressure of below 2 MPA and a temperature range of 0~85°C, an expansion elbow may not be necessary. However, in the case of liquid nitrogen, actual calculations are required, based on the temperature difference
Without design parameters, talking about design is nonsense. Nitrogen generally does not require an expansion elbow to be designed.
