When the equipment is shut down for cleaning, the vents of various valve assemblies – especially those for heavy oil – tend to get clogged or blocked. Due to the high steam pressure, it is difficult to clear these blockages when venting occurs. We usually use thicker copper wires to clear them manually; once the vents are cleared, steam can spray out easily. Although this doesn’t cause any injuries, it is still quite dangerous. Is there any safer way to clear these vents? Experts, please give some advice! !

Before operating, it is necessary to release the steam pressure first; alternatively, a small drain valve can be installed elsewhere for this purpose.
