The successful completion of this localization project has broken the market monopoly held by imported products in the area of vent valves for large LNG storage tanks, and it will play a significant role in facilitating the full localization of large-scale liquefied natural gas storage technology. The roof vent valve is an essential safety device for LNG storage tanks; it is a low-temperature safety device that relies on the discharge of fluid from a pilot valve to operate the main valve open and closed. When the pressure in the tank exceeds the set value, this valve releases gas, thereby maintaining a constant pressure inside the tank and preventing damage due to overpressure.
