Are PVC pipes subjected to hydraulic pressure testing when they leave the factory? Looking at the following table in GB/T 4219.1., what should I do if I don’t understand it? Please give me some advice, thank you!
This experiment refers to the test of the manufacturer's products. You can ask the manufacturer to do it, but it does not need to be done on every piece. It is usually done on a random basis.； Each piece requires a 1.5 times hydraulic pressure test before leaving the factory. The 1000h withstand voltage test is a verification of product performance testing
Pipe inspection is divided into factory inspection and type inspection. Factory inspection is conducted at 20℃, 1h, and ring stress 40MPa. This is an item required for type inspection.
Only the hoop stress is given, is the test pressure calculated based on the diameter and wall thickness? Thanks!
