Please help provide the standard specifications for HG flanges in stainless steel pressure pipelines and the use of stainless steel fasteners. Thanks!
The A2-70 I used before was not strong enough and could not be removed after installation. Is there any experience in selecting stainless steel fasteners for pressure pipes below PN16 and below 60°C?
Stainless steel fasteners sometimes become seized. I haven’t heard of the selection of individual stainless steel fasteners. You should be able to refer to the requirements in this table. Or use a fully threaded one and use special grade stainless steel 0Cr18Ni9.
1. For the flange of HG/T 20592, choose the bolts of HG/T 20613. 2. For the flange of HG/T 201615, choose the bolts of HG/T 20634. For industrial use, generally choose fully threaded studs + 2 nuts.: 35CRMo/30CRMo temperature -100~525℃, impact test is required below -20℃, not less than 27J. In theory, bolts using this alloy steel can be used at low temperatures, as long as the anti-corrosion base material is well prepared and does not contact the flange, the advantages are high strength and cheap labeling: Low-strength fasteners are only suitable for flanges with pressure levels less than or equal to PN40. The national standards 316 and 304 are both low-strength. When using them, please note that if stainless steel is used, the corresponding American standards A193 B82 /A193 or A320 should be used.
