Problems with the layout of vacuum pump exhaust pipelines

The vacuum pump’s suction port has a 6-thread connection, but the pipes used are DN40 size. I am considering running a 4-inch pipe out from the side of a DN40 seamless steel pipe, and connecting it to the vacuum port using a fitting. I’m not sure if this is a suitable approach; I would appreciate some advice from those with more experience
Lift it up so the big guy can see it. . .
1) The 4-mm pipe is too small, which will reduce the pumping efficiency. 2) At the point where the small tube meets the large tube, it is advisable to use an arc-shaped elbow, with its direction aligned with the exhaust direction.
