The manufacturer sent the drawings for a semi-jacketed storage tank. What does ADg80 refer to in terms of the flanges used for the materials inside the tank? What is the difference between this and flanges specified by standard HG20592-2009?
This type of flange is made from glass-lined material; HG 2105 is the standard for slip-on flanges used in glass-lined equipment, and the difference between it and the standards set by the Ministry of Chemical Industry lies mainly in the material used. Regarding ADG80, it is a brand name from Jiangsu that specializes in enamel flanges; the number 80 following it represents the nominal diameter.
And the nominal size field should simply state 80
. . Just check the standard; HG/T2105 indicates type A with a diameter of 80. . . Aren’t old standard calibers all denoted by Dg? . .
