No way, the medium inside is demineralized water, not steam. And would a steam trap open upwards? On top of the buffer tank, a pipe runs from beneath the tank to the differential pressure transmitter. I’m not sure if it’s related to this device.

Isolation container or condensation container? But the demineralized water medium you mentioned seems unnecessary
Hey, I’m referring to the one on top of the small container, the one that looks like a safety valve – not the small container itself.
This post was last edited by altpage on 2019-6-27 at 15:42. The photos don’t show everything; it’s assumed that there is another small container on top of the valve of the smaller container. It seems that this container is used to add certain substances into the system (such as triethylene glycol or other antifreeze agents), which are then mixed inside the smaller container.
This should be a condensate tank for measuring level or flow rate using differential pressure
Yes, it’s a condensation tank that uses differential pressure to measure liquid level. What I want to ask is: what are those two items on top of this condensation tank?
That thing on top of the small jar looks so much like a water meter at home There happens to be an FI on the PID diagram. The question is: what is this water meter needed for here?
