Oxygen pipeline material issue

The operating pressure of the oxygen pipeline is 1.0 Mpa; it is made of 20# seamless pipes, and the pipelines run from the factory area to the workshop, with valves installed on the main pipes. According to the design specifications for oxygen stations, 20# seamless pipes cannot be used within 1.5 meters behind the valve; stainless steel pipes must be used instead. In this case, only the valve and the pipeline within 1.5 meters behind it are made of stainless steel, while the pipeline before and after this section uses 20# seamless pipes. It seems a bit awkward. Experts, do we really have to use these materials in this way?
It is recommended to use stainless steel pipes throughout.
