Today I talked with Nafoshi about their high-pressure stop valves; they assured me that the installation direction isn’t a constraint, and they can be installed either way. It’s a bit different from what I’m used to, and the manufacturer can’t give a clear explanation; they only promise that it can be used either way. Does anyone understand?
Can’t even the manufacturers explain it? Then do you dare to use it? How can one believe it’s not a scam?
The stop valve has a pressure-bearing direction when it is closed
It’s obvious that you’re talking to a salesperson who doesn’t understand technology – the difference in performance between a high-pressure stop valve installed in the correct orientation and in the wrong orientation is not negligible at all! ! !
