Question regarding security inspections: If the pipe diameter is less than DN40 (including 40), is it unnecessary to undergo security inspections?

There is a common belief in the market that steam pipes with a nominal diameter of less than DN40 (including 40) do not require safety inspections. Pipes with a diameter of DN50 or more (including 50) must undergo safety inspections annually. I’m not sure if this statement is correct, or whether there are any regulations regarding it

Below is the latest definition of pressure pipelines; you can take a look: A pressure pipeline refers to a tubular device that uses a certain pressure to transport gases or liquids. It is defined as a pipeline with a maximum operating pressure of 0.1 MPa (gauge pressure) or more, carrying gases, liquefied gases, steam, or liquids that are flammable, explosive, toxic, corrosive, and have a maximum operating temperature equal to or higher than their standard boiling point, and with a nominal diameter of 50 mm or more. Except for pipes with a nominal diameter of less than 150 mm and a maximum operating pressure of less than 1.6 MPa (gauge pressure), as well as the pipes that form part of the equipment used for transporting non-toxic, non-flammable, and non-corrosive gases.
Both pressure and diameter are subject to regulations. The DN40 diameter is not large, but if the pressure is high, safety inspections are required

Perhaps the standard is outdated; the new requirement is 50mm or more
