In the 10Kpa air system, the disc of a swing check valve is making humming noises; it keeps sounding, and I’m worried that it might fall off someday, so I want to replace it with a different type.

If it is flammable and explosive, attention must be paid to these issues. In such cases, it is recommended to appropriately reduce the setting value in order to decrease the gas supply volume. Reduce the frequent impact of the valve disc. The reason is a decrease in the gas flow rate per unit volume. This phenomenon occurs when the pressure difference across the valve is approximately zero. So it is still necessary to appropriately reduce it. It’s worth a try. Additionally, whenever there is a chance for shutdown, it is necessary to plan to inspect the internal valve core of this valve.
