I would appreciate it if you could advise me on how to determine the minimum opening pressure of a check valve from its nameplate. Thank you. Also, in the 1.6C grade under stress, is the C referring to carbon steel?
It is recommended that attention should be paid to the pressure difference. To find out the minimum pressure required to open it, the best way is to disassemble the valve and measure it practically. Some valves are controlled by their own weight or the force of springs; if precise data is required, it is better to conduct actual measurements for reference.
