There is a set of desulfurization valves, with the pipeline medium being dilute sulfuric acid at 30% concentration. I would like to ask what material would be suitable for use in butterfly valves.
Desulfurization can’t be as simple as just using dilute sulfuric acid; wear resistance also needs to be taken into account, so 2507 rubber lining should be used
Alloy (n08020), 20-series alloy, specifically designed for use in this sulfuric acid medium
It should still have a temperature component that needs to be taken into account; different temperatures require different choices
For this, a plastic butterfly valve or one made of PTFE can be chosen
Check the temperature; if it’s not high, use the fluorinated lining which is cheaper, while if the temperature is a bit higher, use HA-C.
