I saw a passage in the materials. Full-flat sealing surface: Often used in combination with the butt-welding style to suit operating conditions that are relatively mild (PNg1.0) ； What does PNg1.0 mean?
PN1.0MPa – is “g” meant to represent gauge pressure?
1.0 Mpa is equivalent to a pressure of 10 kilograms. I’m not sure what g means.
The national and industry standards specify 1.0, while the chemical industry standard is 10. PN is the nominal pressure; in the past, the unit following PN was kg/cm2, so PN25 meant 25 kg/cm2. The new standard specifies that the unit for PN should be MPa. Different standards have varying requirements for PN
The correct notation is PN10 or PN1.0MPa; it may be a typo
