I am now dealing with two double-walled pipes used for transporting resin. The inner pipe is used to carry the resin; the operating pressure is around 12 MPa, and the temperature is approximately 220 degrees Celsius. There are no valves on these pipes, their length is about 5 meters, and the end of each pipe leads directly to the atmosphere. The resin is non-toxic, with a flash point of 335 degrees Celsius. Do such pipes fall under the category of pressure pipes? If so, how should the inner tube be inspected regularly? Can 100% radiography be used as a substitute for pressure testing?
