I’ve never really understood the fundamental differences in the actuating mechanisms of these three types of valves: hydraulic valves, electro-hydraulic valves, and pneumatic valves An electric valve is pretty easy to understand – it uses a motor to drive the opening and closing of the valve. What is the difference between hydraulic and electro-hydraulic? Are pneumatic valves and hydraulic valves completely free of electricity inside? So how is direction reversal achieved? Modern valves, unless they don’t come with an actuator, are all electric, right? Thank you all
