Can the material certificate be found? ? ===================== The grades of PE pipe materials are divided into PE63, PE80, and PE100. Relatively speaking, PE100 has the best pressure resistance but the worst flexibility, while PE63 has the worst pressure resistance but the best flexibility; PE80 falls somewhere in between. The 80 in PE80 refers to the minimum required strength of the pipe; that is, under normal conditions and over a service life of 50 years, with a 97.5% confidence level, the pipe can withstand a minimum pressure of 8 MPa.
At a long-term hydrostatic strength of 20°C, after 50 years of use, the circumferential stress at which the material fails ranges from 8.0 to 9.99 MPa for PE80, and from 1.0 to 12.49 MPa for PE100; these values serve as the basis for naming polyethylene material grades and for designing their strength. The performance differences between the two are as follows: ① Tensile properties: The tensile yield strength of PE100 is 20% higher than that of PE80; ② Impact resistance: PE100 has better impact resistance than PE80; ③ Flexural properties: The flexural modulus of PE100 is 20% higher than that of PE80; ④ Pressure resistance: PE100 can withstand higher pressures than PE80; ⑤ Resistance to rapid and slow crack growth: PE100 performs better than PE80 in this regard.
