SolidWorks for 3D piping – can it be useful?

As the title suggests, I heard that some companies use SolidWorks for 3D piping – is it effective? That’s impossible! Students who have used it, raise your hand!
3D pipeline layout can be done using SolidWorks’ routing feature; it’s also feasible for small models. Of course, there are many other plugins available as well
The piping for a single device is fine, but it becomes somewhat inadequate when dealing with multiple large devices.
Small-scale piping is suitable, but it’s not appropriate for large-scale plant piping.
The computer has strong performance, which is more than sufficient. The SOLIDWORKS Electrical version can also be used for wiring electrical cables.
