May I ask everyone, what type of drain valve is this? Especially since the drainage port at the bottom is inclined, is there a specific model for it? And what is this bevel cut called? I’m new to this field and don’t know much about it; I earnestly ask for the help of those who are more experienced.
This must be a steam trap used on steam pipes. When water accumulates inside the pipe, it flows out from the inclined tube. The one above seems to have a pressure relief valve function. It’s a combination; it would likely need to be customized, for reference only.
It’s a bit like a thermodynamic type, activated by the temperature difference before and after the valve.
For the pressure relief valve, the inclined port is used for draining waste.
