Stainless steel for low-pressure steam pipelines

May I ask, can stainless steel be used for low-pressure steam pipelines? I have a DN400 low-pressure steam pipeline here, and due to insufficient expansion, the valves keep leaking at the flanges. I’m thinking of adding a stainless steel expansion joint in front; will that work? Thank you

This is the standard practice: either add square bends or expansion joints, and generally, these expansion joints are made of stainless steel! Just calculate the thrust on the fixed point
