After the pre-experiment is completed, after pressure release. The remaining pressure in the pipeline should be recorded every 3 minutes, for a total of 30 minutes. If there is an upward trend in the remaining pressure during these 30 minutes, then the hydrostatic test is considered successful. Why is there an upward trend? After pressure release, the pipeline pressure rises – is it air pressure?

When dissolved air is released, there is some release of pressure; therefore, during pauses in the pressure relief process, the pressure rises slightly. This increase is not very noticeable – it is indicated by a slight fluctuation in the pressure gauge pointer.
