What is the difference between a regular ball valve and a vacuum ball valve? Could you provide a sample from a manufacturer for reference? There is a project with a vacuum level of -0.09 Ppa; the valve specified for use is of the Q41W-16P type, made of CF8 material, with 304/STL construction, PN16 rating, RF ball design, floating ball mechanism, and low-leakage packing. The manufacturer on site said that the vacuum ball valve was not designed properly. Can this designed valve be used in vacuum systems?
As long as the leakage requirements are met, there is little difference in actual use!
Since the pressure difference here is low, you can use this model of valve as long as its leakage level meets the requirements. If the pressure difference is high, this valve may stick and fail to open.
