What are chemical processing units?

I would appreciate it if an expert could advise me on what types of chemical processing units exist and what valves are used in each of them. Also, what are the OEMs involved in the chemical industry? Thank you for your guidance.

Looking at the navigation on this site: the three sections – Industry, Coal Chemistry, and Petrochemicals – cover only a very small portion of chemical processing units. Each of these sections contains N different types of chemical processing units, which makes it overwhelming to keep track of them all. But valves, on the other hand, are related to pipes and equipment; therefore, it’s more convenient to find them under the categories of equipment and pipes.
