Can’t electrical connectors with explosion-proof requirements use G threads?

I heard from the accessory supplier today that electrical connectors with explosion-proof requirements cannot use G threads? Are you saying it’s a new requirement? I also checked on the forum, and there are reports that the G-thread has poor sealing properties. Isn’t there a rule stating that newly introduced electrical connectors with explosion-proof requirements cannot use G threads?
Either one will do; just keep the sealing ring in place to maintain sealing

Looking at this requirement, is a G thread also acceptable?
