In cases like this, is it actually a flanged butterfly valve or a wafer-type butterfly valve? How should one make judgments in normal situations?
So is this FF connected to the pipeline?

A wafer is a clamp-type valve and should generally be equipped with an RF (raised face flange). FF is a full-flat flange, and can only be used with full-flat flange valves. So FF and Wafer in the table are contradictory.
A wafer is a wafer-type valve. In my understanding, the difference between wedge-type valves and ordinary flanged valves is that wedge-type valves are shorter in length; they are typically fastened together using a set of bolts/studs that connect the valve to the two matching flanges. A set of fasteners is required for statistical material collection, but the bolts/screws need to be longer. In contrast, flanged valves have two flanges, each secured with a set of bolts; therefore, two sets of fasteners are required when counting the materials, and the length of the bolts/studs is somewhat shorter. Because a wafer valve is a set of bolts passing through two flanges with a valve sandwiched in between. From an installation perspective, the RF face is indeed more suitable for wafer-type valves, as it is difficult to create an FF face due to the compact structure of these valves. As 9L said, if this material was provided by the design unit, it is recommended to check whether there is any typo. If this material is provided by the manufacturer, it is also recommended to verify this, as it is possible that some manufacturers do produce FF-face wafer valves.
