Leakage in non-metallic expansion joints

This post was last edited by Clouds of flowing water shine on 2017-9-5 10:37. The non-metallic expansion joint at the pump outlet, made of rubber, with a weight of 16KG and a DN400 size, failed to function after less than half a year due to leakage. What is the reason?
There are also many cases of leakage; where is it leaking from? There are also many reasons: wrong material selection? Over-compression, distortion? Changes in impeller dynamic balance? You need to describe it more clearly, or call me; feel free to send me a private message if necessary.
