The DN40 pipe diameter of this valve should be 48mm. Why is it actually butt welded to a 60mm pipe? Thanks
Check the drawings. The 60mm pipe should be DN45. Check to see if there are any special requirements for the characteristics of the materials being transported.
This type has an inner diameter of DN40, and the outer diameter can be infinitely enlarged to meet the kilogram pressure, such as 57* 15 pipe, the outer diameter is DN50, the inner diameter is 27, which is close to DN25, and the actual pipeline flow is DN25
It seems that the only function is to increase the pressure, because the inner diameter of the steel pipe with an outer diameter of 60.3 is the same as the inner diameter of 48.3, which means that the wall thickness of the pipe has increased a lot, which can better ensure the pressure level before and after the valve.
