However, for materials that are easy to dry or liquids that are prone to scaling, the O-type ball valve may not be able to guarantee the same high sealing performance. Generally speaking, the sealing performance of V-type ball valves and O-type ball valves is different for different liquids. For liquids such as solutions and emulsions that are prone to particle deposition, the sealing effect of V-shaped ball valves will be better. For general fluid handling, such as water, gas, oil, etc., both have good sealing properties. In practical applications, the appropriate ball valve should be selected based on the specific characteristics of the liquid and process requirements. .
The main application occasions of the two are different, and the sealing performance is not the main difference between them. The O-type ball valve is used to cut off the medium. As long as it is selected correctly, there will be no problem with sealing. V-shaped ball valves are mainly used in working conditions that require flow adjustment, and their sealing is also very good.
The sealing effect of the O-shaped ball valve must be very poor, so I asked if the V-shaped ball valve could be better. As for which one of them is more suitable for adjustment, it is not within my current consideration.
