Dear seniors, I have a question: Our lifting equipment is equipped with containers and pipes, but during inspections, it isn’t necessary for the pipe department to conduct inspections; instead, it has always been the container department that handles these inspections as part of its duties. On the drawing, the inspection code specified is only TSG21; TSGD0001 is not mentioned. I once heard an experienced colleague say that if it’s a pry tool equipped with a container, then the area within 10 meters of the container’s radius can be considered part of the container’s own piping, and there is no need for the piping department to conduct inspections on it. Later, I checked but couldn’t find any relevant standards or documents. May I ask if there are any documents or standards that can clearly define the boundaries of this supervision and inspection? Under normal circumstances, pipelines and containers are inspected separately. If the pipes in your skid-mounted equipment are part of the container and located within 10 meters of the container’s radius, separate pipeline inspection may not be required, but it is advisable to consult the local quality and technical supervision department for confirmation in such cases. .
