The Bao-Lin gas pipeline project is a key component of the autonomous region’s 14th Five-Year Plan initiatives aimed at ensuring gas supply to every county in western Mongolia; it represents an important step in the development of energy infrastructure in Bayannur City and in optimizing the regional layout of such infrastructure. Since the construction of the pipeline began in March 2023, all parties have worked together closely and cooperated effectively to overcome various difficulties, making every effort to advance this project that benefits the public, and the pipeline project was successfully completed. The completion and operation of this project mark the interconnection of natural gas transmission pipelines in central and western Inner Mongolia, thus forming a closed loop. This provides a solid foundation for ensuring a steady supply of gas to all counties and districts in Bayannur City, thereby supporting people’s daily gas needs. At the same time, the pipeline has the capability to transport hydrogen, providing a solid foundation for the future consumption of green hydrogen across the city as well as for the development of related industries. It plays an important role in accelerating regional economic development and facilitating adjustments in the energy structure. West Gas Company will take this as a new starting point to further strengthen its sense of responsibility and urgency regarding safe production, improve management of production and operations, and enhance safety standards, so as to provide residents with safe, reliable, clean, and accessible piped natural gas, thereby making new and greater contributions to the high-quality economic and social development of Bayannur City. The Baotou-Linhe natural gas transmission pipeline is the first high-pressure, long-distance pipeline project in China capable of transporting hydrogen. The commissioning of these pipelines plays a crucial role in promoting the utilization of hydrogen energy in the autonomous region, as well as in the development of an industry for providing clean energy sources there. It is hoped that the pipeline will achieve its intended results as soon as possible and contribute to the economic and social development of the autonomous region. The Baotou to Linhe gas pipeline project is an important part of Western Natural Gas Company’s efforts to create a unified gas network across the region and to ensure gas supply to every county in western Mongolia. From the project planning stage, the company has taken into account the **\"dual carbon\" strategy as well as the requirements for high-quality development in the Yellow River basin of our region, and has planned high-standard high-pressure natural gas pipeline projects with hydrogen transport capabilities. In the future, the company will further develop investments in the natural gas industry in areas along the Yellow River basin, such as Bayannur, Baotou, and Wuhai, in order to promote the growth of industries related to natural gas chemistry and natural gas-based energy supply, thereby achieving synergistic value-added benefits ； By utilizing pipeline-based hydrogen transportation to supply green hydrogen to downstream industries such as steel and chemicals, infrastructure support is provided for the large-scale use of hydrogen. This helps to transform the energy structure in areas along the Yellow River, such as Bayannur, into one that is cleaner and more efficient. It also serves as a solid foundation for implementing the \"five key tasks\" and promoting the green and high-quality development of the economy in our region ； We will actively respond to the **\"Dual Carbon\" strategy**, make every effort to advance the implementation of the \"Gasification of Inner Mongolia\" initiative, thoroughly implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party, and continue to accelerate the progress of connecting all counties in western Inner Mongolia as well as all cities in eastern Inner Mongolia.
