The geometric dimensions and mechanical properties of these products met all the technical standards required. This marks the successful trial production of straight-seam submerged arc welded pipes for supercritical carbon dioxide transport in China, with the largest diameter and thickest wall thickness. This product is primarily used for the sequestration of carbon dioxide and oil displacement to reduce carbon emissions; it can meet the demands for transporting tens of millions of tons of supercritical carbon dioxide. By filling the gap in products related to the \"dual carbon\" goals in China, it further enhances the competitiveness of this company’s transportation equipment in the clean energy sector

Supercritical CO₂ transport pipes are primarily used for the storage of carbon dioxide and oil displacement, thereby reducing carbon emissions and playing a positive role in **achieving the dual-carbon goals**. Supercritical CO₂ transmission pipelines require high levels of low-temperature toughness and corrosion resistance in their piping materials; currently, there are no HFW steel pipes suitable for supercritical CO₂ transmission in China.
