The domestically produced BRIDGEFLOW DBB two-way mechanically forced-sealing ball valve won the 2024 ASME Woelfel Best Mechanical Engineering Innovation Award. Developed independently by Zibo Wotaisi Petrochemical Equipment Co., Ltd., the CoolSeal series of valves features unique friction-free rotation and two-way threaded mechanical forced sealing capabilities. While maintaining the full-bore/angle-of-rotation operation typical of ball valves, these valves achieve true zero-leakage mechanical sealing, with a sealing performance that exceeds that of traditional blind flange seals. After on-site evaluation by an expert panel from the China General Machinery Industry Association, the bidirectional double-mechanism sealed ball valve was rated as being at the international leading level. The product is currently in use at several domestic natural gas metering and calibration centers as well as energy facilities, and its performance is highly satisfactory
