Zheyi Guanye (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. has obtained a patent titled “A Flange for Chemical Pipes”, with the approval publication number CN223228052U; the application was filed in October 2024. The patent abstract indicates that this utility model discloses a flange for chemical pipelines, belonging to the field of flange technology. This practical new design includes a left flange and a right flange. On both the upper and lower sides of the right flange, there are mounting blocks attached. These mounting blocks are connected to a protection mechanism via rotating shafts. The protection mechanism consists of a splash-proof cover; one side of this cover is fixed in place by a connecting piece secured with a clip. One end of the connecting piece is welded to a fixing piece, and lock tongues are attached around the perimeter of this fixing piece. By incorporating this protection mechanism, an additional layer of protection is provided for the connection between the left flange and the right flange. Rotating the splash-proof cover allows the fixing piece at one of its ends to be inserted into a bolt, thereby simplifying the installation process. Moreover, it enables the protection mechanism to be firmly attached to the flanges, allowing nuts to compress the fixing piece and thus tightly connect the left and right flanges together. This not only enhances the stability of the flange connection but also facilitates the installation of the protection mechanism.
