The set pressure of the safety valve on the fuel gas pipeline is 1.76 MPa; is it appropriate to use Class 150 for the nominal pressure of flanges, valves, etc.? Class300 should still be chosen
The setting pressure of the safety valve is 1.05 to 1.10 times the maximum operating pressure. First, select a material and check its operating pressure at the highest temperature for class 150; if this value is lower than 1.76 Mpa, then this material is not suitable for use at the highest temperatures associated with class 150. In that case, one can consider using a material from class 300 and check its specifications.

There is a chart providing the temperature rating values for materials as per ASME; as the temperature changes, the pressure-bearing capacity of the materials also decreases.
