As the title suggests, which pipes in a factory require regular wall thickness testing? What are the regulatory requirements?
Corrosive media are also harmful
Pressure pipelines, special-material pipelines, or equipment
For pressure pipelines that require special attention, as well as elbows, tees, sections where the pipe diameter changes abruptly, and adjacent straight sections that show significant corrosion or erosion-induced thinning, wall thickness measurement should be carried out either by fixed-point testing or through random inspections.
