Do Parker’s instrument tube valves still have market competitiveness in China?

I’m a recent university graduate and a complete novice in this field; I currently work as a salesperson at an agency company that is part of Parker. I don’t know where to start in order to find clients.
Is the situation in the domestic market really that severe? Since our main market is in the oil and gas industry, and I graduated from an oil school, I thought there were quite good prospects for development; I didn’t expect things to be so difficult already.
It’s not that the market is difficult to operate in. It’s that by focusing on such minor details in equipment right after graduating, you affect your ability to develop an overall perspective in the future
