The flanged ball valves commonly used are those with RF faces; are there any flanged ball valves with male and female faces? If so, for such a flanged ball valve, is it possible for one end of the inlet and outlet to have a concave flange while the other end has a convex flange?
When seeking manufacturers or suppliers for such ball valves, choose them based on the required pressure rating. Such local terms for flanges with male and female surfaces are referred to as flanges with mating surfaces; they are primarily used in high-pressure applications. When the female and male surfaces are brought together, a metal wound gasket or other type of gasket is used, and the outer diameter of the female surface forms a kind of fixing sleeve that prevents the gasket from exerting outward tension under pressure. The flange type is related to properties such as pressure and medium, and it is not necessarily an RF face. When in use, it can be replaced with a higher level one instead of a lower one, but not vice versa. If the front and rear flanges need to be different, that’s also fine; as long as it complies with the regulations, the manufacturer can produce them according to the requirements.
Of course, there are. The M/FM face refers to flange connections with uneven surfaces, and domestic manufacturers can produce them; there is no need to import them. If the valve is convex, then the mating flange is concave; conversely, if the valve is concave, then the mating flange is convex.

I work at a valve factory. The customer requested that the valves be made according to concave-convex patterns, but didn’t specify whether it should be concave or convex. I’m wondering what guidelines exist for valve factories in such situations
