This achievement breaks the foreign technological monopoly and represents a significant breakthrough in achieving self-sufficiency in high-end core nuclear power equipment. It fills a technical gap in China. The main steam release isolation valve serves as a “safety barrier” in a nuclear power plant’s steam emission system, performing key functions such as heat discharge, overpressure protection, and isolation – functions that are crucial for the safe and stable operation of nuclear power plants. Previously, such critical valves relied heavily on imports, with their core technologies controlled by foreign companies. The main valve and control valve of the product feature an integrated design ; An innovative dual-piston chamber drive system for rapid large-volume discharge is employed to meet the requirements for discharging large volumes of fluid. The product is designed for a pressure of 8.9 MPa and a temperature of 316°C; it has a service life of up to 60 years. Its various performance indicators are at the international advanced level, with some key indicators being superior to those of similar foreign products.
