In China, apart from Qinghai and Tibet, companies that produce lithium carbonate also generate mirabilite or sodium sulfate as a by-product; it’s possible to call them to ask about this. This industry is relatively small in scale, with low production volumes as well – approximately 2 tons of mirabilite are produced per ton of lithium carbonate.
Is the mirabilite discharged from the ion-exchange membrane caustic soda process meeting your requirements?
